On the 8th of March 9 students of our Master Program “Petroleum Engineering” (TU Clausthal) went to the DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG. We visited the Production District of Lower Saxony in Langwedel-Holtebüttel.
Despite the cold weather conditions and the early departure, 8 members were so excited to visit a sour gas treatment plant for the first time, that they became unstoppable. Upon arrival and after a detailed safety instruction, the technical details of the sour gas treatment were explained to us theoretically.
