Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Tony Carrico from Vinci Technologies for an insightful and engaging presentation. Mr. Carrico introduced us to Vinci's journey, from its beginnings at IFP School in Paris to becoming a global provider of advanced tools used by major energy companies.
He walked us through the company's focus areas and how its technologies support more efficient energy production while contributing to CO₂-reduction efforts. Tony also shared his own career journey, giving us students a broader perspective on the different paths we can pursue within the energy sector.
We appreciated the chance to learn more about the lab equipment we use throughout our studies — and may work with in our future careers. We wrapped up the evening with some discussions over food and drinks, which made the experience even more fun and relaxed.
