The SPE Student Chapter was pleased to invite everyone to an SPE Ambassador Lecturer Program (ALP) session, which featured two professionals who shared their career experiences from industry and academia.
The Ambassador Lecturer Program (ALP) is an SPE initiative designed to connect students with early-career professionals, helping bridge the gap between university studies and the industry through real-world experiences and technical knowledge sharing.
Mohamed Eita (Hammo) and Reinel Echavez were the speakers who shared career insights and professional growth opportunities. Hammo discussed his personal journey from university to his professional position in Baker Hughes, covering early career challenges, lessons learned, and transitioning into the industry. He also gave a technical introduction to Artificial Lift Systems, focusing on Electrical Submersible pumps and their role in modern production engineering.
Reinel highlighted the value of joining SPE, showing how early involvement opens doors to powerful networks, career-shaping opportunities, and long-term growth within the global SPE community.
The event concluded with a Meet & Greet, providing a great opportunity for students to connect, ask questions, and expand their network.
