One of the most important activities organized by the chapter are trips to different conferences in Europe and around the world. These conferences provide ample opportunity to meet students from other universities and learn more about our industry. 

Do you want to see the industry in action? Join us on our field trips to active oil fields or various company facilities and learn more about our industry. Every year our chapter provides several opportunities for our members to visit active sites and see the industry at work.

Throughout the semester company representatives will visit us on campus to give short introductions to their companies and talk about their work. In some cases, these visits are coupled with on-campus interviews or young professional lectures.

The student chapter frequently invites experienced and distinguished professionals to give presentations in their area of expertise and answer students questions. Another type of lecture we organize invites recent graduates, so-called young professionals; their presentations are less technical and mainly focus on the life as a professional.

The chapter tries to engage students on campus at social events instead of just lectures and seminars. There are varying events ranging from the meet and greets with professionals over viewing parties for sports events to a weekly football hour. The student chapter aims to engage all our members and provide a rewarding experience for everyone.
